Biannual Appeals
Twice a year, appeals are sent to our friends and
benefactors.
Memorial Gifts
Loved ones may be remembered with a memorial gift to the
Sisters of St. Joseph. The deceased are included in the
prayers or our sisters and associates.
Bequests/Planned Giving
As they prepare estate planning, donors may include a gift
through a will or trust to the Sisters of St. Joseph.
Charitable Gift Annuities
Through a financial agreement, the Congregation
pays a lifetime guaranteed income to the donor. Upon the
donor’s death, the Congregation becomes the beneficiary.

These are unsolicited gifts made as donors deem
appropriate.

Sister Mary Ferguson Takes Helm
at Development Office
The
Sisters of St. Joseph have appointed Sr. Mary Ferguson as
the new Director of Development for the Congregation.
Sr. Mary replaces Sr. Constance Quinlan, who is retiring.
Sr. Mary has just completed a six
year term on the Leadership Team for the Congregation.
Prior to that she ministered for 24 years in the
Pittsfield Catholic Schools and later served as
Junior/Senior Religion teacher at St. Mary High School in
Westfield.
Sr. Connie had served as Director of
Development for the past twelve years. She said to
donors and other friends of the Community, "It has been a
pleasure to minister with you over the years...Your
support, prayers, encouragement and wonderful messages
have touched me deeply."

The Sisters of
St. Joseph is a non-profit organization under section 501C
(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, pursuant to the United
States Catholic Conference Group Exemption.
Any donations to the Sisters of St. Joseph are deductible
for federal income tax purposes.

SSJ 500 Club
The Sisters of St. Joseph
will have two groups of 500 Club members for 2011-2012 and
new members are still being
accepted. The
Club includes monthly drawings for each group:
1st prize: $500
2nd prize: $200
3rd prize: $100
PLUS Bonus Christmas drawings of $250 for each Group!
Yearly membership costs $10 per month for 12 months or $100
upfront (SAVE $20)
Drawings are made on the third Thursday of every month
from September to August.
